Have a busy schedule? The American Heart Association’s online classes provide the perfect way to get your AHA certification card with very little interference with your schedule. You can complete the online portion of the course at your leisure on your own computer, and then attend your hands-on skills session at our local Tampa Training Site on a day and time of your choice.

3 Easy STEPS to ONLINE Certification
1. Choose Class Below.
Select the online class that you need to be certified in below. After you complete the order you will receive your online course key code via email.
2. Complete Online Portion.
You will complete the online portion of the class at your own convenience. You will then simply print the completion certificate to bring with you to the skills check.
3. Take Skills Check.
After completion of the online portion you will schedule a convenient time to take the required in-person skills check at our Tampa Training Site. *You will immediately receive your card after the completion of the skills session.

Choose the Online Class You Need!
This online Basic Life Support class is for healthcare providers such as nurses, doctors, dentists, therapists, etc. This certification also satisfies ALL School CPR Requirements for healthcare and medical related programs, such as nursing school, etc.
This online Advanced Cardiac Life Support class is a great alternative for medical professionals who need an ACLS certification but have a busy schedule.
This online Pediatric Advanced Life Support class allows busy healthcare providers to acquire PALS certification more on their own schedule.
This Online CPR class is for non-healthcare providers such as teachers, lifeguards, personal trainers, childcare, parents, etc. It covers CPR and AED use for infant, child and adult.
This Online First Aid ONLY class will certify individuals who need an American Heart Association First Aid 2 Year Certification. All basic principles of First Aid care are covered.
The course provides certification for both CPR and First Aid. This course is for non-healthcare providers such as teachers, lifeguards, personal trainers, childcare, parents, etc. It covers CPR and AED use for infant, child and adult, as well as basic principles of first aid.
WARNING: There are many Online CPR, BLS, ACLS and PALS online classes that are advertised. Most are not American Heart Association (AHA) approved. Healthcare employers require American Heart Association certifications. Taking a course that is not approved would be a waste of time and money. You can usually find this information on the website offering the course in the Terms and Conditions area (usually a small link at the bottom of the page) or the FAQ’s area of the website. You cannot receive an American Heart Association certification card entirely online! An in-person skills session is always required.
*All courses taught by CPR Tampa are 100% American Heart Association certified.

You will receive an email directly from the American Heart Association with the link and instructions to activate your online course within the same day after you register.
The hands-on skills session is only 1-1.5 hours, and you will get your certification eCard on the same day of your successful skills session.
We do not post the skills session schedules online because these are special schedules that we create based on our instructor’s availability. You can give us a call at 727-240-9404 to schedule your skills session.
If you already registered to the online blended class, we will email you the next available dates for your skills session.
Please note that skills sessions are on a first come first served basis and need to be scheduled at least 48 hours ahead.
Yes! Please give us a 48-hour notice to reschedule your skills. Otherwise, there will be a $50 rescheduling fee to change the date and time of your skills session.
Same Day! All American Heart Association cards are now digital. You will receive your digital card on the day you take your skills session.
Yes! CPR Tampa is an official American Heart Association training site.
Yes, CPR Tampa instructors are American Heart Association certified. Each instructor has completed (1) the rigorous and official American Heart Association instructor training and certification process, and (2) the “How to Teach a Stress-Free CPR Class™” classroom and testing training protocol that ensures a superior experience for everyone.
CPR Tampa’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and comfortable learning space for all is achieved through a combination of well-defined classroom policies and a focus on providing exceptional customer service to students.
Most of our instructors are Registered Nurses, Paramedics, EMT’s or Fire Fighters. They all have medical and/or emergency backgrounds. All are American Heart Association certified instructors.
The required information is included in the online course, so you do not need a separate manual.
