Receive your 2 year American Heart Association HeartSaver First Aid certification card on same day as class. 

Most people take this class because it is required by their job, however others such as grandparents take it in order to feel secure that they know these crucial procedures.

Many Florida employers require workers to be certified in First Aid and CPR AED. The AHA HeartSaver® class offered by CPR Tampa is accepted by all non-healthcare related employers.

Who Is This Certificate For?

Anyone who needs First Aid certification. This course is for lifeguards, teachers, coaches, personal trainers, electricians, construction workers, factory workers, transportation workers, welders, early childcare teachers, Mom’s and Dad’s, etc. This course is OSHA approved, and can also be taken by healthcare professionals.

The American Heart Association certified instructors at CPR Tampa’s Tarpon Springs location are experienced emergency medical and healthcare providers. We certify individuals through the AHA with First Aid and CPR AED in communities that include Pinellas County, Hillsborough County and Pasco County. Other than Tampa and Palm Harbor, we also serve Clearwater, New Port Richey, St. Petersburg, Wesley Chapel, Dunedin, West Chase, Town N Country, Tarpon Springs, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, Pinellas, East Lake, Trinity, Keystone, etc.

We also will travel to certify large groups such as in offices, factories, churches, retails stores, restaurants, schools, gyms, etc.

Same Day! All American Heart Association cards are now digital. You will receive your digital card by midnight on the day you take your class or skills check.

Heartsaver CPR AED Class is 3 hours long.

HeartSaver First Aid class is 3.5 hours

HeartSaver CPR AED and First Aid Class is 6-7 hours long.

*These are the American Heart Association course guidelines.

 

Yes. The American Heart Association requires that every student has access to the current AHA manual before, during and after class. 

If you didn’t order a book with us, make sure you bring one to class. If you arrive to class without the required manual, you will need to purchase one before class begins in order to participate in the class. Your instructor can assist you with this on the day of class. 

Yes, you can take a screenshot of your Online Course Certificate and show this to our instructor.

Yes, you can pay on the day of the class. However, we prioritize paid reservation, you can try to go there on the day of the class and see if there is a spot available. If there is, you can attend the class. If the class is full, then you will have to choose a class on another day.

All American Heart Association cards are now digital. If you lose access to your card, there is a $20 recovery cost for each occurrence. However, if you purchased Card Insurance, recovering access to your card is FREE for 2 full years. To request a replacement card simply email us.

The American Heart Association no longer provides physical cards. All cards are in digital format that you can access and print.

Once you have accessed your card through the AHA’s website, you will have the option to download and print the eCard, which is in PDF format.

There is no minimum age requirement for this course. We even have students as young as 8 years old who have taken the class.

No, we have the same price for all our 10-training sites. We give training that provides certification from American Heart Association.

Yes, we allow a guardian for minor students.

Yes, you can still take the Heartsaver First Aid only Class. There is no requirement with Heartsaver First Aid, whether you need this for healthcare or non-healthcare.

*However for CPR, as a healthcare provider, i.e., nurse, you will need to take the BLS CPR course, not the HeartSaver CPR course.

American Heart Association doesn’t allow 100% Online. You will receive the same certification whether you complete this in-person or with the Online Blended Learning option. You can take the Online Blended Learning option by taking the Online Course at home and go to our training site for the skills session for just 1-1.5 hours long.
